Properties of Kangen Water

Anti-Oxidant

Our bodies are filled with free radicals (atoms that are unstable as they’re missing an electron). Free radicals develop in our systems naturally but also occur as a result of sickness, smoke, stress, UV Rays, environmental toxins and pollutants, radiation, processed foods, drugs, etc. and can damage our cells, proteins and DNA by altering their chemical structure. This can lead to aging, wrinkles, tissue damage, cell mutation, immune system damage, heart problems, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer, etc. Antioxidants are any molecule that can neutralize/stabilize these free radicals by slowing down the oxidation process. They do this by giving away one of their electrons. This is the same thing that happens inside a Kangen Water machine. Alkaline water, on the other hand, uses chemicals to alter the pH levels, meaning it is not a naturally occurring process. Our bodies tend to be very acidic due to our high-acid diets, stress, and environmental factors such as pollution. By drinking alkalized water we can balance our body’s pH levels. Potential of Hydrogen (pH)

Our pH is measured on a scale of 0 - 14 where 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most alkaline. The human body needs to maintain a blood pH level between 7.35 - 7.45 (meaning the pH of our blood is naturally slightly alkaline). Should this pH level become imbalanced it could have severe health implications leading to a number of serious, life-threatening illnesses, including Cancer. This happens because when our blood becomes too acidic, our bodies transfer that acid from our blood to our cells. Our blood then returns to it’s normal, healthy pH level, however our cells are now too acidic. Some of these cells will die off as a result, but the ones that don’t become “abnormal” or “malignant”, meaning they can no longer communicate properly with our brain or our DNA. Thus resulting in Cancer cells.

Conventional diets which are typically filled with processed foods and pesticides can increase the acidity level in our bodies. How is Kangen Water Produced?

Kangen Water is made through the process of electrolysis. Inside the machine, your tap water goes through a filtration process. Once the water has been purified, it then runs over eight platinum-dipped, titanium plates. These plates separate the water molecules, making them form into smaller clusters. The machine then separates the water into two components: acidic and alkaline. The alkaline water, which is suitable for drinking, then gets dispensed out of the top hose on the machine, while the strong acidic water comes out of the bottom hose.

How Do Kangen Water Machines Compare to Other Water Ionizers?
